Importing OPML - I want to pre-assign tags when I import, thus I could for instance grab a list of 400+ SEO blogs, and import it under an SEO tag immediately. Duplicate entries would just get a new tag

Weird, maybe it's your source? When I imported my OPML file from Google Reader to Technorati all of the tags were imported properly.

Wow, this is a lot to take in - but I'm trying to understand it all. Who knew when I started blogging a few weeks ago that it could be this involved!

All I can say is you deserve to be the A-List (all on your own... LOL). one request/comment - we lazy non super human mortals find it harder to cope with articles of massive length without it being paged for us - it's the diet of TV that melts the brain. Plus it's the end of a long day.

I thought I was long-winded. That, Andy, was one of your longest posts. It took me a while, even in Google Reader!

    But it was good! :-)

Pardon my language, but this is one hell of a post!

I enjoyed the read very much. Very, very good information and perspective.

All I have to say is two thumbs up (while I go read it again, lol!)

Andy, I totally agree with you on spending time to read/comment your readers' blogs.
Great analysis on the friends/favorite exchange in social media, I see nothing wrong with it. This is part of blogging and social media :)

    Honestly... no

Not that I don't want to increase my subscriber count or links

I honestly don't want to upset the monetization algorithms for text links that much, although if that is your intention, you probably didn't achieve that.

I've enjoyed the articles, even though they are way over my head. Don't water your content down. I'm come up to where you are, don't come down to me.

But, I do have a specific question. How do I get a content form? You know the kind that lets readers type right into the webpage, but sends the info to my e-mail.

    Thanks,
    Chad
