I would like to vote for - BakeSpace.com- (Niche and Miscellaneous Social Networks) This is one of the best sites I have ever stumbled upon. It is a place to post recipes, make friends, ask questions, reply to cooking questions. The forums remind me of a nice coffee house where you can go and chat with your friends. I wish everyone knew what a wonderful place this is. The administrator is very helpful, and has been personally helpful to me many times.

This site is great not only because of the down to earth people and recipes. It also has one of the most interactive moderators I've seen on any social networking site. You feel like you never lose touch with her.
Another wonderful thing about it is that, while it is clearly food oriented, there are many other topics discussed there. I've made a few good friends that I cherish and talk to on a daily basis.

There is such a wide variety of recipes, techniques, food chat, as well as personal chat, all shared amongst friends. The group is so inviting, warm and friendly it seems that no one is a "newbie" for very long. It's like having a live cookbook at your fingertips. I've never had a cooking or baking question go unanswered there.
The site is well designed, navigates smoothly and is continually updated by the admins. The recipes as well as informative material is always kept fresh by the input of the site and forum users.
It's exciting to have finally found an active cooking/baking site that not only suits every taste and skill level but is a wonderful social environment as well!

The founder of the site is always involved, always making things even better, always doing something fun to involve the members and we all all happy to be there. You can communicate, exchange recipes and advice, create your own cookbook, post photos (I still haven't figured out how but it can be done), siggies, have your own blog, offer suggestions for the site and the helpful administration which is on site will implement them if they are good and feasible, provide help to people very grateiously, and the people who you may never meet feel like close friends. Altogether it is a great place to be.
