I read that Alexa redirects had stopped functioning but they seem good to me.

Don't think I would ever use them instead of genuine navigation. Doesn't do much for a sites image among it's readers.

It all seems a bit black hat BUT if you are trying to sell ads at the moment you gotta play the Alexa game, surely?

Someone mentioned using the redirects, Google got me here so glad I researched it.

Alexa rank is a tad high but getting there very slowly.

That did open my eyes. I took my widget off a few weeks ago, but I'm thinking about putting it back on.

I've recently just gotten a blog to the 400,000 range and I'm pretty excited about it. I wonder if the widget being on there for a short length of time did anything to help the ranking....

That's awesome! I have been thinking about using the alexa redirect and I guess I really shouldn't. But, now I understand why people display their alexa ranking on their web pages.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to show off my alexa ranking because I think it is really ugly but if you say I can hide it with css I'll have to hunt around for ways to do it.
